Matt + Caroline's Cheekwood Garden Style Wedding

In the creative industry we all have a few key friends and family who have believed in us from the start of our floral design business or even before. Without the love and support of people that strongly believe in us we may not be where we are today. Mary and Ray Prince and their daughter Caroline are perfect examples of that love and support. Gracious, giving, loving and fun are a few words that come to mind when I think of them. You can image how thrilled I was to hear that Caroline was engaged!

Growing up in Nashville there are a few iconic places you may want your wedding. Cheekwood Mansion and Botanical Gardens is one of those places. Caroline has planned for her wedding to be at Cheekwood for as long as I can remember.

We started planning months ahead and we knew it was going to be absolutely beautiful. Caroline’s favorite flowers that we included were the king protea, classic peonies and garden roses. A garden style party vibe was what she wanted with antique flow blue china to make it feel classic. There was a modern yet classically southern feel to Caroline’s perfect day!

Caroline and Matt both love the National Parks and wanted to incorporate them in their wedding day. Using them as table numbers was a really personal touch which everyone loved.

Flowers we used: king protea, light pink and white peony, anemone, Baroness garden rose, white Ohara garden rose, white and blue hydrangea, white ranunculus, Mondial rose, Quicksand rose, white Majolica spray rose, Snowflake spray rose, succulents, dusty miller, silver dollar and seeded eucalyptus, Italian ruscus and variegated pittosporum.
