Eden and Hunter's Garden Wedding at Cherokee Dock

Eden and Hunter’s wedding at The Estate at Cherokee Dock was planned and designed by Laurie Hardman of Laurie Deanne Events. It was the perfect spring wedding where English garden style met contemporary accents. The result was a stunning display of soft, pastel spring florals designed with both a wonderful loose and dancing style as well as some contemporary design twists added in just the right places.

How can you go wrong with a color palette of pale lavender, pale pink, and very pale pops of yellow, creams and whites for a spring wedding?

The ceremony was held in the estate’s rock garden on the lawn. The entire stoned walkway was lined with beautiful arrangements made with floating and dancing flowers in beautiful colors of lavender, pale pink, pale yellow, cream and white roses. This was an aisle made for a princess bride to walk! The ceremony arch just carried on the theme of the aisle and was a fully covered, lush display of dark and light greenery with all the same kinds and colors of flowers.

The reception married garden and contemporary styles pulled together by use of contemporary styled containers. We used the ultra modern white Orion containers for the floral arrangements  and clear side open terrariums filled with spilling out florals that lined the long rectangle tables. Guest tables also had either the orion vases or the open side clear round terrariums that were a huge hit.

Some of the florals used were Silvery Light, Sahara, Early Gray , Ocean Song and Sweet Escimo roses. white majolica, little silver and blue moon spray roses, butterfly ranunculus, anemones, lisianthus, scabiosa, green center white ranunculus and hellebores.

We loved this day. One of many favorite weddings we’ve done.
