It’s not often we get to work with a family on more than one wedding, but in Alex and Bradley’s case, this was the second wedding for the Norris family. Bradley’s sister was married last November, so you can imagine our excitement when Alex and Bradley asked us to be their wedding florist.

The intimate space of Marathon Village’s “Room with a View” was the ideal setting for this classic wedding. When sitting down with the couple to learn about their vision for the wedding day, we knew immediately that they wanted to be involved in the details. Alex and Bradley were passionate about contributing to their dream occasion, and we loved watching their creativity come to life. Of note, Bradley handmade the ceremony structure and Alex created several decorative items and details, like the beautifully constructed table numbers.

While Alex and Bradley were hard at work on their end, we got down to business, too. The bride wanted white florals with mixed colors and textures of greenery for a classic look with contemporary accents. We chose white ranunculus, white Moonstone and Playa Blanca roses, snowflake spray roses and mixed colors and textures of greenery like olive branches, Italian ruscus, seeded green eucalyptus and silver dollar eucalyptus.

It was fun to see our floral designs come to life to compliment the bride and groom’s vision, but we especially loved the memorial backdrop behind the couple’s sweetheart table. Filled with mixed greenery, pillar candles, votives, and family photos with people who have impacted their lives, this unique backdrop fully represented this close-knit, loving family.

It was a pleasure and privilege to work with such special people. We wish Alex and Bradley the very best in their new life together as husband and wife, and we hope to have the opportunity to work with their family again in some capacity!
